Professional Associations

Member of the National Herbalist Association of Australia (NHAA)

Georgie has been with the Practice since 2015, working in a client services role alongside our dedicated clinical team while she has been completing her studies in naturopathy. Graduating in September 2017, Georgie is excited to have the opportunity to begin sharing the benefits of natural health care with the Practice community.

In her clinical work, Georgie places a strong emphasis on evidence based medicine – an approach that incorporates the most recent and reliable scientific research with what is known to be best clinical practice, in order to address each individual client’s health wants and needs.

She is a fierce advocate for personalised medicine, believing that there is no such thing as a ‘one size fits all’ approach to health care, but has rather observed that the best outcomes are achieved when treatment is tailor made for each individual’s unique body, environment, and lifestyle. She hopes to bring improved health and wellbeing to families by supporting them to implement realistic and sustainable strategies that lead to meaningful and lasting change.

Georgie holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy from the Southern School of Natural Therapies (SSNT) and received the Award for Clinical Excellence upon graduation. Throughout 2016 and 2017, she completed 500 hours of provisional naturopathic clinical practice under the supervision of the profession’s most experienced naturopaths, working with clients from a variety of backgrounds, across a range of ages, and with a diversity of conditions.

Further to this, Georgie has additional exposure to and mentorship in fertility and pregnancy care, and applied nutritional medicine during her time completing two internship programs which she was selected for. In her commitment to the evidence-based nature of modern naturopathic medicine, Georgie completed a research paper through Laureate University in 2016 on the role that herbal medicine can play in neurodegenerative conditions.

Georgie has completed additional professional development in:

  • Neurodegenerative diseases
  • Autoimmune conditions
  • Gastrointestinal conditions
  • Exercise physiology
  • Sports nutrition
