Mariah is a Speech Pathologist who is passionate about working with families and young children on the Autism Spectrum. In addition, Mariah has a keen interest in early infancy and toddlerhood, particularly working with children who have motor speech difficulties. She applies a family-centred, collaborative approach to therapy, integrating key individuals involved in the child’s care. Mariah works closely with child care centers, kindergartens, and schools to ensure the best level of therapy for children. Mariah is a compassionate therapist who has a warm interpersonal style. Mariah currently works with children from infancy to adolescence, who are experiencing:

  • Language disorder or delay
  • Speech difficulties – attributed to articulation and phonology
  • Stuttering
  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)
  • Pragmatics (social skills)
  • Literacy difficulties (including Specific Language Impairment)
  • Learning difficulties
